Praise Pod
Some communities spend a lot of energy and time noticing and sharing events that are generally regarded as 'bad' They are awash with killer phrases and self-fullfilling prophecies. In such communities positive events are perceived as one-off blips, and unsurprisingly are often just that.

Other communities, despite similar levels of income, housing and social opportunities are quite the opposite. Small successes are celebrated, children and adults feel good about themselves, and there is a sense of optimism about the future. More time is spent talking about good things, and unsurprisingly many more good things happen.
