Blogging Difficulties
I have been trying to add new posts on this website forever...keeps giving me an error message about foul language. Of course not!

Anywho I have emailed the "contact person" like 4 times...no response. Anyone have a clue what is going on?

Digital Divide Non-Profit
Hola!

Okay, so, I think I am slowly, but surely figuring it all out...my mission may be to formally develop some type of training non-profit that focuses on bridging the digital literacy gap between low-income students and the rest of society.

I just moved to Chicago...from what I have researched there are initiated being taken by many organization to achieve this same goal. What I am looking toward is training high school students on new media technologies used for the arts: illustration, film making, web design, etc. Not only in Chicago, but in many cities...maybe I could travel....I have a lot of skill and I want to share it with people who have the same background and struggles as I.

Fortunately, a good friend of mine has some experience with developing this sort of business (i.e. grant monies, contacts, curriculum development).

The name of the company and its mission is very clear to me. I really want to do this! Now, its just a matter of handling some legal and business matters, but more to come as I progress. The DDN will definitely be a great resource...
