What Evidence is there that Distance Education (ICTs) can Alleviate Poverty in Developing Countries?
For those of you in the know...
It has been a very trying ordeal to research this topic. It seems that everyone from the World Bank to InfoDev.org are talking about DE and ICTs in developing nations...how they may work...what strategies should be followed and so on. But, no one has any statistics.

So I ask the brilliant minds of DDN...is there any evidence that distance education can alleviate poverty in developing nations?

If you have any leads for me...I would be eternally grateful!
