Ndaula Ahmed's Blog
Based on the philosophy that there are unmet needs both in developed and developing countries, the World Education Corps was established with the intial funding from Dr. James Martins. WEC trains and sends volunteers both in developing and developed countries.
In it's pilot program, WEC started with 10 countries including; Uganda, United States, Tanzania, India, Pakistan, Chine, Ghana, Nigeria, Jordon and Argentine. In recruiting volunteers, WEC works closely with it's partner International Education and Resource Network (iEARN).
Ahmed is currently in New York, United States for a period of one year ending august 2005. He's working as IT assistant officer at iEARN-US and working closely woth schools in conducting trainings to students and teachers.
