Alternative Discussion Board
The discussion board for this community and other older ones has not been working for a while, and the problem seems to be difficult to solve. As an alternative, I have set up a wiki at wikispaces: http://languages.wikispaces.com, which we can use for discussions too.

The idea for this community came from discussions at various mailing lists (1) on how to tackle the linguistic and cultural diversity issue in projects aiming at bridging the digital divide. We could use it as a portal linking to these discussions, and to useful tools and resources.
The working language should preferably be English, but if you have difficulties writing in English, you can use French, Italian, German or Spanish and I'll attempt to provide summaries in English.

L'idée de cette communauté vient de discussions dans plusieurs mailing lists (1) sur comment affronter la question de la diversité linguistique et culturelle dans les projets visant à réduire la fracture numérique. Nous pourrions l'utiliser comme un portail renvoyant à ces discussions, et à des ressources et instruments utiles.
La langue de travail devrait être, de préférence, l'anglais. Mais s'il vous est difficile d'écrire dans cette langue, vous pouvez utiliser l'allemand, l'italien, le français ou l'espagnol, et j'essaierai de fournir des résumés en anglais

Potremmo utilizzarla come un portale che rimandi a queste discussioni, e a risorse e strumenti utili.
La lingua di lavoro dovrebbe essere, di preferenza, l'inglese. Tuttavia, se vi è difficile esprimervi in inglese, lo potete fare in italiano, francese, tedesco, spagnolo, e proverò a fare dei riassunti in inglese.
