i4d Award 2007 (e-india) for Overseas - GDCO, Sudan

| During 31 July - 3 August 2007 the eINDIA 2007 Conference was held in Taj Palace Hotel, New Delhi (India) where more than 2000 persons from more than 40 countries and 200 companies and organizations attended. The conference discussed the digital e-services including 7 categories 1) Telecentres 2) e-government 3) e-health 4) e-agriculture 5) e=commerce 6) mobile services 7) community radio. The conference ended with the i4d Award 2007 where 36 projects were nominated. After a hectic process of two around of deliberation, seven jury member of i4d were able to extract seven nominations to be awarded in various categories. Finally seven national & international ICT-based projects from different countries (4 from India, and 3 overseas category included GDCO - Sudan Sri Lanka and Government of Bahrain ) earned the i4d Awards for their contribution. The i4d awards were given during the valedictory session held on 2nd August 2007. |
