WSIS Telecentres Caucus Developed in collaboration with: EDC Center for Media & Community | WSIS Civil Society Delegation |
As part of the civil society delegation to the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), we have created a working group to discuss the role of telecentres, community technology centers, telecottages and other public access points to the Internet, in achieving the UN Millennium Development Goals. The working group is an international community of activists, with English, French and Spanish as official working languages for the group. We'll use this space, along with our email discussion group, to explore ways of working together to share best practices and strategies for promoting successful, sustainable telecentres.
