About Me:
Presently lives in Melbourne, Australia as Research Fellow at Victoria University.
Bhojaraju Gunjal lives in Bangalore, India and serves as the Knowledge Management (KM) Consultant at TATA Consultancy Services (TCS) - one of the world’s leading information technology companies. He has more than eight years of professional experience in Knowledge/Content Management & Library Administration in IT Sector.
Prior to this, he served as KM-Lead in Cognizant Technology Solutions (Bangalore). He was Lead-KM in GCI Solutions (Bangalore). He served as Librarian-KM (Technology) in ICICI OneSource (Bangalore) - one of the largest BPO players in India. Also he was the Library-cum-Information Officer for IRMRA (Indian Rubber Manufacturers Research Association) (Thane), - a premier organization in rubber research in India. In this position he led the Professional Services team and was heading the Library & Information center & also associated with Training Co-Ordination. Served as Librarian in Fr.Agnel Technical Education Complex (Polytechnic, Engineering & MBA) (Vashi, Mumbai), Librarian & Documentation Officer in ICSI-CCRT (Belapur, Navi-Mumbai), Library-Intern in British Council Library (Mumbai).
Presently he is pursuing Ph.D in Library & Information Science on the topic “Knowledge Organisation Systems in Digital Libraries: A Case of ETDs” from University of Mysore, Mysore. His academic background is MLIS (Master of Library & Information Science) from Karnatak University, Dharwar securing high First Class and Gold Medal. Recipient of National Merit Scholarship for twice. Completed PGDLAN (Post Graduate Diploma in Library Automation and Networking) from University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad.
Published & presented technical papers in the field of Library & Information, KM both in national and international conferences/journals and also attended various professional training programs. Authored few chapters in Books & Encyclopedia at national & international level.
