About Me:
Jayne Cravens is an internationally-recognized professional with more than 20 years of experience in communications and nonprofit management/civil society. She is probably best known for her pioneering research regarding involving volunteers via the Internet (online volunteering), and being one of the first proponents of internet technology use by nonprofits. A frequent presenter and author, she has taught remotely as part of volunteer management courses at both the University of Texas at Austin and the University of North Texas. She holds an MS in Development Management from Open University in the United Kingdom. She is a citizen of the USA, and lives with her husband and at least one dog in Germany.
