I've worked as a teacher, consultant, trainer and currently I'm co-founder of an online learning company, Moodlerooms, Inc. My thirty - four year career as an educator has offered clients expertise in the area of teaching and learning. I've designed and conducted effective learning solutions for clients because of my own personal commitments to lifelong learning, understanding of how individuals learn best, and effectively integrating appropriate technology into the teaching learning dialogue. I'm a graduate of Central State University, an historically black college located in Wilberforce, Ohio with a degree in Elementary Education.

I earned my Masters degree in Education from Hofstra University and completed postgraduate credentials in Educational Administration from Brooklyn College.

As one of the principals of Executive Performance, my vita, includes professional experiences as a classroom teacher, trainer, entrepreneur, author and union representative.

I've facilitated learning projects on Long Island for Amityville School District teachers, the STEP and CSTEP Programs at SUNY Old Westbury, the Center for Minority Teacher Development and Training at Dowling College, ChaseBank, and the Weed and Seed project of the US Department of Justice.

In addition to conducting seminars on Integrating Technology in theClassroom, I also facilitate classroom training ande-Learning solutions on topics such as How to Learn Online, Business Plan Development, and Diversity in the Workplace.

I also serve as a state-level instructor for the New York State United Teachers Effective Teaching Program. Recognizing the value that education plays in developing upward mobility in minority communities, ten years ago I co-authored and published a book entitled "The Black College
Guide."

As a 34-year veteran of the middle school classroom, I have spent my career teaching K-12 students, connecting with teacher education programs, and delivering professional development courses.
I also have had significant expertise integrating open source technologies, including Moodle and Linux, into classroom practice in both middle school and higher education environments.

If you can type, you can Moodle . According to the National Educational Technology Plan, all teachers must have access to online classrooms and provide one for their students.Teachers must be expert in integrating technology into their daily classroom practice and see it as useful as their syllabus and curriculum.

I believe the teacher at the front of the room is the instructional leader and master learner for her pupils. It is the responsibility of the teacher to be at the forefront of new methodologies to improve the learning outcomes for the students "by any means necessary."

I've had the opportunity throughout my career to speak to my colleagues around the state of New York on topics such as Diversity, Lifelong Learning, Technology and Learning, and Labor Unions in the Workplace.

Throughout my teaching career I served as a New York State delegate to the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) National Civil and Human Rights Conference, delegate to NYSUT Representative Assembly, a member of the New York State United Teachers (NYSUT) Committee of 100, Chair of NYSUT's Civil & Human Rights Committee, as a Amityville Teachers' Association Legislative Council member and as webmaster for the Amityville Teachers Association.

I've also served on the boards of various non-profit organizations including the Delta Minerva Life Development Center, Inc. (a local community development initiative). For 40 years, I have been a lifetime member of the national public service organization, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
